Everything you need to know before getting your site built.
How much does a small business website cost in Chattanooga?
Most Chattanooga web designers charge between $1,500 and $5,000 for a small business website, plus ongoing monthly fees. I charge $1,000 flat for a full multi-page site (typically 5–10 days) or $300 for a simple one-page starter (typically 2–5 days). Both are one time, with no monthly fees. See the full breakdown on my Chattanooga web design page.
What's the difference between the $1,000 site and the $300 site?
The $1,000 full site is a multi-page build with as many pages as you need for the services you offer — typically 5 to 10 pages including dedicated service pages, gallery, about, contact, and FAQ. Custom layout, branding tailored to your industry, schema markup, delivered in typically 5–10 days. The $300 one-pager is a single page that lists your services, service area, and contact info — it's the fastest way to get on Google when you don't need a full site. Both are one-time payments, both come with free hosting, and you own the domain and site files in both. See the side-by-side comparison →
Who is the best affordable web designer in Tennessee?
I'm biased, but here's the honest answer: Rad Sites Co is built specifically for affordable small business websites. I'm a Chattanooga-based web designer focused on one thing — building real websites for local service businesses. Full multi-page sites for $1,000, or one-pagers for $300. I take on clients anywhere in Tennessee — Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis — and across the entire U.S. Read more about me.
What Tennessee cities do you serve?
I'm based in Chattanooga and serve businesses across the greater Chattanooga metro — Hixson, East Ridge, Red Bank, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, Ooltewah, Collegedale, Cleveland, Dayton, plus Dalton and Ringgold in North Georgia. I can also build remotely for businesses in Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, or anywhere else in the U.S. over text.
Will this help me show up on Google?
Yes. Your site is built with clean code, fast load times, and your business name, services, and city written into the page — exactly what Google looks for when deciding what to show people. Having your own website is one of the best things you can do to start showing up in local search results.
I already have a Facebook page. Why do I need a website?
A Facebook page is great for staying in touch with existing customers, but it doesn't rank well on Google. When someone searches "junk removal near me" or "handyman in [your city]," Google almost always shows real websites — not Facebook pages. A website gives you a presence where people are actually looking.
How long does it take?
The $300 one-pager is typically done within 2–5 days after you send me your info. The $1,000 full multi-page site typically takes 5–10 days. Simple as that.
What do I need to provide?
Just the basics: your business name, phone number, services you offer, and the area you serve. If you have a logo or photos you'd like used, send those too — but they're not required. I'll handle the rest.
Do I need to do anything technical?
Nope. The only thing you need to do is buy a domain name (like yourbusiness.com). I'll walk you through it if needed — it takes about 5 minutes and costs around $12–15/year. After that, I handle everything.
How do I buy a domain?
Go to GoDaddy.com or Namecheap.com, search for the name you want, and buy it. That's it. If you need help picking one or setting it up, just text me and I'll walk you through it.
Who owns my website?
You own your domain — that's your property. I host the site for free with both tiers. If you ever want the site files to take somewhere else, they're yours. No strings attached.
What if I want changes later?
Small updates like changing a phone number or adding a service are free — just call or text me. If you want a full redesign or major additions down the road, we can talk about it.
Do I pay monthly?
No. It's one time, flat — $1,000 for the full site or $300 for the one-pager. The only ongoing cost is your domain name, which is about $12–15/year — and you pay that directly to the domain registrar, not to me.
How do I pay?
Half upfront to get started, then half when your site is done and you're happy with it. That's $500/$500 for the full site or $150/$150 for the one-pager. I accept Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, and Apple Pay — whatever's easiest for you. Just call or text me and I'll send you the details.
I'm not in Chattanooga. Can you still build my site?
Absolutely. I work with businesses all over the country. Calling works best — but everything can also happen over text if that's easier for you. No meetings needed.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?
You totally can — but you'll spend hours picking templates, writing your own content, figuring out SEO settings, and maintaining it yourself. With me, you call or text and I handle everything — design, content, SEO, hosting. One-time $1,000 for a full site or $300 for a one-pager, no monthly subscription. No learning curve. You run your business, I'll build the site. See the honest side-by-side: Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress vs. a custom site.
What if I already have a website but it looks bad?
I can build you a brand new one — $1,000 if you need a full multi-page replacement, or $300 if a one-pager fits your needs. If you already have a domain, we'll just point it to your new site. If your current site is on Wix, Squarespace, or somewhere else, you can cancel that after we go live.
Do I need SEO if I'm getting a website?
Every Rad Sites Co website is already built with SEO basics — clean code, fast loading, your services and city written into the page. That alone gives you a real shot at showing up on Google. But if you want to push harder — rank higher, show up in the map pack, get listed on 40+ directories — that's what my SEO services are for. Think of the website as the foundation and SEO as the fuel.
What's the difference between the SEO audit and the full SEO package?
The SEO Audit ($250) is a detailed report — it tells you exactly where you stand and what to fix. The Full Local SEO Package ($400) includes the audit plus Google Business Profile optimization and citation building across 40+ directories. It's $600 worth of services for $400. If you're serious about ranking, the full package is the move.
What is Google Business Profile and why does it matter?
It's the box that shows up on Google when someone searches for a business — with the map, phone number, reviews, hours, and photos. For local service businesses, this is where most of your leads come from. If your profile is incomplete or unoptimized, you're losing calls to competitors who have theirs dialed in. I'll set it up right or fix what's already there for $150.
What are citations and why do I need them?
Citations are listings of your business on directories like Yelp, BBB, Yellow Pages, Apple Maps, and others. Google uses these to verify your business is real and trustworthy. The more consistent your name, address, and phone number are across the internet, the more Google trusts you. I submit your business to 40+ directories for $200.
Do I need monthly SEO management?
Not necessarily. The one-time services (audit, GBP optimization, citations) build your foundation. Monthly management ($150/mo) keeps things growing — I post to your Google Business Profile, track your rankings, monitor your reviews, and keep your listings accurate. It's for people who want to stay visible without thinking about it. No contracts — cancel anytime.
Can I get SEO services without a website from you?
Yes. My SEO services work whether I built your site or not. That said, if your current website has issues, I'll flag them in the audit. And if you want both a new site and SEO, I offer a bundle — $300 website + $400 Full SEO Package for $650 (saves $50).
Ready to get started?
