Brainerd Vending — a WordPress site rebuilt by hand for a Chattanooga vending company.
Brainerd Vending is a family-owned company, and the business has kept break rooms stocked across greater Chattanooga since 1974 — snack and drink machines, cold food, and self-checkout micro markets. We replaced their WordPress site with a fast, hand-coded site on their own domain, built it around their official logo and colors, and now manage their local SEO. Live at brainerdvending.com.
- WordPress site replaced with hand-coded HTML, CSS & JS
- Official logo and brand colors, plus a favicon from their BV mark
- Quote page that sends requests straight to the office's inbox
- Machine Help page for QR service stickers made for the machines
- Old WordPress contact URL redirected to the new quote page
- LocalBusiness structured data: hours, service area, founding year
- Google Search Console verified & sitemap submitted
- Google Business Profile work + ongoing SEO management
Why this project mattered.
A vending company sells to other businesses. The office or facilities manager looking for a new vendor is asking two things: is this company established and local, and can I get a quote without a runaround? A good site answers both before anyone picks up the phone.
Brainerd Vending had the answers — family-owned, in business since 1974, 650+ machines, and its own uniformed, trained, and insured route drivers — but its site ran on WordPress. Rather than take that over, we rebuilt it: a fast, clean site in their official brand, a quote request one tap away, and local SEO that keeps working after launch.
What Rad Sites Co built.
A hand-coded site on Brainerd's own domain — no WordPress, no page builder, no plugins to keep updated. Here's what's under the hood:
Their official brand
Built from the client's own logo kit: the navy, red, and gray from their logo guide, the horizontal logo in the nav and footer, and a favicon from the BV mark. Red text on navy uses a lighter tint of the brand red so it stays readable.
Their machines, not stock
The hero and the Machines & Markets gallery use the client's own photos — a stocked break room, one of their snack machines, and two self-checkout micro markets.
A quote page that reaches the office
A dedicated quote page asks what they're interested in, how many people are on site, and where the machines would go — then emails the request to the office. A sticky call bar keeps the phone number one tap away.
QR machine help
A Machine Help page for QR service stickers made for the machines: report a problem, suggest a snack or drink, or ask about vending at your workplace — sent straight to the office.
Search-ready at launch
A rewritten title and description, LocalBusiness structured data with hours, service area, and founding year, Search Console verified with the sitemap submitted, and the old WordPress contact URL redirected to the new quote page.
Google profile + ongoing SEO
On their Google Business Profile we added the official logo and wrote a new business description, and we manage their local SEO on an ongoing basis — with Search Console checked in a weekly digest.
What a B2B service site actually needs.
This is the playbook the Brainerd build follows — and what any company that sells a service to other businesses should expect from its site:
- Proof you're established. Years in business, how many machines or accounts, family-owned — put the facts a facilities manager checks first up front.
- A quote form that sizes the job. Ask the questions that matter, like people on site and location, so the first call is a useful one.
- Your own photos. Your real equipment beats stock images of someone else's.
- A direct line from the equipment. A QR sticker that opens a help page gives the people using your machines a way to reach your office.
- Your brand, done right. Use the official logo and colors, and check that they stay readable on every screen size.
- Local SEO basics. Structured data, Search Console, a sitemap, and a Google Business Profile that matches the site.
If you sell a service to other businesses and your reputation rests on decades of showing up, this is the play. The Brainerd build maps cleanly onto:
Vending & micro markets
Quote forms that size the job, real equipment photos, and QR help for the people using your machines.
Route-based B2B services
Office coffee, water delivery, uniforms, shredding — anyone who services business accounts on a schedule.
Established family businesses
Decades of reputation and a website that doesn't show it — rebuilt on your own domain, with your brand intact.
Businesses leaving WordPress
A hand-coded site has no plugins to patch and no page builder to fight.
