Why this project mattered.
A golf club website has a specific job. A would-be guest is usually trying to answer two or three questions in about a minute: what does the course look like, how do I book a tee time, and is this the kind of place I'd want to spend an afternoon? Members want something quieter — a place to check events, read news, and recognize their club in how it's presented online.
Creeks Bend needed a site that served both of those audiences without feeling like a brochure or a template. The course had to be shown — not described. Booking had to be one tap, not buried three menus deep. And the whole thing had to feel like the club it represents.
That was the lens for the whole build: a real tool for the club, not a glossy landing page.
What Rad Sites Co built.
A fully custom 7-page site — no templates, no page builder, no monthly platform fees. Every page is hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Here's what's under the hood:
Custom layout for the club
Type, spacing, color, and photography chosen to match the feel of the course — not a generic golf theme dropped on top of the content.
18 holes, documented
A dedicated course section that walks through all 18 holes, paired with real course photography instead of a single stock hero image.
Online tee time integration
Tee time booking wired straight into the site so guests can go from "when can I play?" to a reserved slot without hunting for a phone number.
13+ hole-by-hole photos
A real photo gallery of the course — not stock imagery — so visitors can actually see what they'd be playing before they book.
Email signup with honeypot
Newsletter signup with a hidden honeypot field so the club can talk to members and guests directly without getting buried in bot submissions.
Local SEO schema markup
JSON-LD structured data so search engines can read the club as a real local business — name, location, and details — not just a page of text.
What a golf club site actually needs.
This is the playbook the Creeks Bend build follows — and what any golf club or venue should expect from its site:
- Real photos of the course. Not stock imagery. The gallery is often the first thing a new guest looks at.
- One-tap tee time booking. If booking takes more than a tap, it's costing the club rounds.
- Hole-by-hole detail. Serious golfers want to see the course before they drive out to play it.
- Hours, address, and phone above the fold. Members and guests shouldn't have to hunt for the basics.
- A clean way to stay in touch. Email signup with spam protection, so the list stays actually useful.
- Local SEO done right. Schema markup for the business so the club shows up for the searches that matter.
